Appearance

Floki is a slight male Veena with pale skin, magenta eyes typically ringed in heavy black eyeliner, and long black hair shot through with streaks of white, styled in a messy wolf cut. At 6'2", he is tall compared to most of his brethren, although more than short enough to still feel insecure about it. His right ear is permanently crooked over where it was once broken some years ago (a memory he insists was a happy one), and he has elaborate blackwork tattoos on his arms, neck, and shoulders. While relatively lithe, he's quite strong; his body simply builds lean muscle over bulk. His everyday attire tends to be more formal than most, often reflecting the Nagxian style, or else featuring immaculately well-kept leathers. He generally prefers to wear dark colours, but on occasion you may find him in a splash of pink. He has silver piercings on his left browbone, nipples, and elsewhere.

Personality

Floki has, by his own admission, a bit "too much" personality. He is loud, brash, and finds great joy in being the center of attention in any room he enters, without much care to how he gets it. He finds it hard to stay still on both an internal and external level, and is constantly seeking stimulation in whatever ways he can find it. If he's sitting quietly without instruction, you can be sure that trouble will soon follow - either by him causing it externally, or letting his feelings stew within him. As confident as he tries to present himself, though, he struggles with deep insecurities, and while Floki will chat and flirt with almost anyone he meets, it's rare for him to become truly close to someone. He's almost always putting on some sort of façade, usually through adopting the most obnoxious personality possible.On his best days, Floki is fiercely loyal and a diligent worker even when he tries to play off that he's lazy. On his worst, he's a bold-faced liar, hellishly stubborn, and overly secretive. He takes his superstitions and rituals very seriously, and hates to be teased about them. If you want him to open up, the best way is to distract him by asking about his beloved cats first, at least a couple of which are almost always following him around. (Yes, even to the dungeon.)

History & Connections

Floki is very guarded about his past, but there are some few facts he willingly shares. He was born high in the deep, remote mountains of Nagxia, where the snows rarely melt. In his late teens (actually the Vieran equivalent thereof), he briefly left his isolated Veena community in order to retrieve an essential rare medicine from the Nagxian capital city, and upon his return, quickly realised just a simple taste of adventure wouldn't satisfy him. It was only a few years after that when he left his birth home for good, choosing to find his own path elsewhere in Othard.The next several decades Floki speaks of only in vague terms, but when he does he often mentions his training as a ninja and, much later once the Garlean invasion started, a scout and spy. Of course, none of his best talents could halt the machines of war completely, and after the fall of Nagxia and Doma, he found himself travelling to Eorzea. At the time of the Calamity, he was living in Vylbrand, although he rarely mentions what he was doing there. It was five years later that he began the job where he met his coworker Munkhdalai, who would become his blood-bonded family of choice not long after. They both reference going through some kind of trauma that caused them to bond so closely, but are tight-lipped about the details. It was also around this time that he reconnected with his older sister, Fenja, who had recently come to Eorzea herself in search of him.Floki's mysterious job kept him quite busy for many years, but in the great breath of relaxation following the diversion of the Final Days, he and Munkhdalai began a new business venture together in the Twisted Lotus Dungeon Club, where he spends most of his days when not spending time causing chaos around Eorzea with his best friend, Cherry.

ERP Basics

Floki is a pansexual sadomasochist switch with a highly varied palate. He is not interested in vanilla sex, but is happy to indulge in all sorts of kinky hookups and scenes. However, Floki is extremely guarded about many of his kinks, particularly those that indulge his submissive side, and if asked directly about them by anyone who hasn't fully earned his trust, will lie through his teeth. That said, he is not particularly good at pretending he doesn't have them. Feel free to tease him; just don't expect him to engage with you honestly. With strangers or other people he doesn't know well for pickup play/one night stands, he prefers to be left alone for aftercare - he'll come back and take care of his partner, but he'll be awkward about it. With people he knows better, he's more comfortable with it.

Kinks & Limits

Floki is an exhibitionist at heart in any situation, and he loves and will heavily extoll the virtues of knifeplay and heavy impact from either side of a scene, although he's particularly skilled at both as a top. He also enjoys discipline and punishment scenes and degredation from both sides of the slash. As a sub, Floki is a hard masochist who loves penetration, confinement/denial, and being overwhelmed until he cries. He secretly yearns for more extreme kinks including consensual nonconsent and total power exchange, but it's rare for him to find someone he wants to engage rarer still for him to work up the courage to ask.
